Winnipeg Métis Association in partnership with Habitat for Humanity deliver an opportunity of a lifetime for Métis families.  For zero percent interest mortgage and no down payment on a house that could be yours, why not take the time to see if you qualify?  Here’s what the poster reads if you’re having trouble reading it.

Winnipeg Métis Association Inc. in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg plan to build several homes for Métis Families in the next several years.  Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg will build new homes for applicants that qualify.  Applicant’s membership must be in good standing with the Manitoba Métis Federation Winnipeg Region.

Requirements for Habitat homeownership include:
1. You have been regularly employed for the past two years.
2. You are a family with children.
3. You are not on social assistance.
4. Your current housing is either, too expensive, too small,
unsafe or substandard.
5. You are willing to volunteer 500 hours with Habitat for
Humanity Winnipeg.
6. You are willing to commit to a long-term mortgage.
7. Your annual household income including Child Tax Benefit is
below the low-income cut-off.  Look at the chart below to
see if your income falls below the numbers in the chart.
