Brief challenge overview: A series of 5 day workweek challenges will start today with a different challenge each week. All participants must follow the honour rule and log down their daily activities to reach a certain goal and will be featured on this site. Although the challenges will change every week there are a few rules everyone must abide by. No soda and no fast food! The loser(s), if any, will have to take a FAIL! picture of themselves. If you don’t know what I’m talking about head on over to Fail! Blog, a funny site that could take a few minutes away from your work.
This week’s challenge is inspired by my brother’s workout challenge he had with his friends. After several chats, a few friends online also wanted to try some challenges. So, this week’s challenge is the 10 Hour Challenge. To workout (lift weights, do cardio or just play some sports) for 10 hours in 5 days. You can break it down to however many hours you want per day but I think Dennis and I are going to try to keep up with working out 2 hours a day on top of our busy workweek days. Here we go!

Rom’s activities – 45 minutes of biking to and from work, 50 minutes of swimming, 1 hour and 10 minutes of walking (to a fringe venue and back). Total of 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Dennis’ activities – 1 hour of cardio at the gym, 15 minutes of cardio and 45 minutes with weights. Total time of 2 hours.
Janilyn’s activities – 2 hours at the gym (not sure about the details yet). Total time of 2 hours.

Rom’s activities – 45 minutes biking to and from work, 35 minutes of dragon boat rowing, 40 minutes of walking to and from the dragon boat site (Don Gerrie Park). Total time of 4 hours and 45 minutes.
Dennis’ activities – 1 hour cardio and 1 hour lifting weights at the gym, 30 minutes of walking from the gym to diana’s apartment to Eaton’s Centre. Total time of 4 hours and 30 minutes.
Janilyn’s activities – 2 hours and 30 minutes playing ultimate. Total time of 4 hours and 30 minutes

Rom’s activities – 55 minutes of biking to and from work. Total time of 5 hours and 40 minutes.
Dennis’ activities -30 minutes of walking, 40 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes with weights. Total time of 6 hours.
Janilyn’s activities – burning calories through sleeping.
We’re all pretty much on our way to 10 hours!! That’s pretty good considering the downtime we’re feeling from all of this. I just feel like my body is slowly tiring away as each day goes by.

Dennis’ activities – 1 hour of cardio, 40 minutes of power 90. Total time of 7 hours and 40 minutes.
Janilyn’s activities – 1 hour and 15 minutes of walking. Total time of 5 hours and 45 minutes.
